InsideOut Basketball was established to provide year-round training camps and International Tours with a focus on improving and impacting the skills, basketball IQ, and athletes love for the game of basketball. Coach Wilson’s ultimate goal is to use InsideOut Basketball not only to improve the basketball skills of upcoming athletes, but more importantly to work with the athletes to increase their knowledge of the game by pushing each athlete to become the best they can be.

InsideOut Basketball Tours combine the excitement of international basketball competitions with the experiences of visiting some of the worlds best training facilities and colleges such as Wake Forest University, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina, University of Richmond and Duke

Performance Academy

The Performance Academy is a 10 week program designed by Coach Wilson. Aimed to increase athletes basketball fundamentals, IQ and advanced skill development, whilst working within the Basketball Queensland and Basketball Australia style of play. The program is delivered by experienced Coaches and challenge athletes to work hard.

InsideOut Basketball is an Australian Owned and operated business based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. InsideOut Basketball has two main branches of operation. Our Skills Sessions and Clinics which are focused on athlete development. High Intensity, technically challenging sessions designed to push our athletes to the next level. Working with our athletes on the little things to ensure athletes can compete is the reason we are here. As a result of working with athletes, Coach Wilson wanted to give these athletes a focus and something to work towards. 'Seeing is Believing', and this is why we created our second branch, InsideOut Basketball’s Tours. Departing from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, Australia we offer athletes a once in a life time opportunity to travel and experience life as an athlete on tour.

Coach Wilson

Coach Wilson has over 18 years coaching experience in Queensland and New South Wales as Head Coach of different programs. Coach Wilson joined the Sunshine Coast Phoenix Basketball Association in 2016, focusing on the development of the Phoenix’s women’s program under Coaching Director Darren Best. Coach Wilson was also tasked with the development and selection of coaching staff across the association.In addition to his Phoenix coaching, he was the head coach of the Phoenix Horizons Basketball Tour to Texas, USA in 2018. During the tour Coach Wilson had the privilege of assisting on the floor of the Dallas Mavericks Basketball Youth Development Academy and spending time with Dallas Mavericks trainers and assistant coaching staff.

A totally professionally run basketball tour linking you with NBA coaches to learn fundamental basketball skills. The tour also gives a behind the scenes view of facilities. Game day experiences are organised where players match their skills against high school and college teams and gain valuable insights into the world of basketball. There are little extra touches allowing the players and families to explore and shop. As a parent who traveled with the InsideOut Basketball North Carolina Tour I cannot recommend the experience enough. My Son & I loved every minute of the experience and have a much better understanding of Basketball life in the US. My favourite part was the relationship forged between the high schools we attended and InsideOut Basketball, spending time with the teams and enjoying meals together after the games was a huge highlight and great experience for all of the athletes, every school was so welcoming. The tour was very well organised and we experienced a huge amount in the 20 days including seeing some great landmarks, training at Shoot 360 & Accelerate and of course visiting Disneyland. Well done for an awesome experience.

“The InsideOut Basketball pre-departure camp was fun because everyone got to meet each other and we made new friends, while still training, running plays and working hard. My favourite part of the InsideOut Basketball Tour to North Carolina and Los Angeles, was visiting DUKE, University of North Carolina and Davidson University.
